Motorcycle Beginnings

So to make a long story short. I forgot about riding bicycles, drove a Vespa for 7 years and then one day woke up thinking, hey, why not try something bigger. Initial inspiration came from the Ducati Monster and behold when I researched the net, I discovered the modern English lady, the Bonneville. It seemed to me to be a more classy version of the Italian naked bike. Don't ask me why I never looked at motorcycles for the first 30 years of my life but here we go...




















And here is my Triumph, the black engine edition Bonneville. We are writing the year 2006.
Mucho better no?

Well, this marked the beginning of a costly, intense but fun adventure. Note the still untouched state of this bike, here parked at Bäckerstrasse in Zurich. Ah, those were the days.
